This stuff is disgusting. And me, I like the shrimp. But this crab stuff they've got going on and these sardines... I mean, really... What is that all about? Everything else Fancy Feast does is pretty complimentary... Tuna and mackarel. Yay. Oceanfish and Whitefish. Okay, good. Shrimp and Fish. Okay, that's a little vague, but it's still really good. So why are we mixing the crustaceons into one big pile of yuck?

And it's "in aspic." Well, really, what is that? I looked it up. "An asp." A what? I looked that up, too. A venomous snake?!

I looked back at "aspic" and realized there were two meanings:
"A clear jelly typically made of stock and gelatin and used as a glaze or garnish or to make a mold of meat, fish, or vegetables."

Oh my several cat gods, does that sound awful.

So, I have a box. Well, really, I have many boxes. They are very interesting, and they come in many sizes. I like the ones that Daddy Matt and Daddy George bring home from "Cost-co" but I have discovered another one, as well.

It's what they call the "file box." It has all these papers and things that are meant to "be filed." Basically, that means that the papers are not supposed to be in the box. Instead, they are taken away. But the papers never leave this box. Nothing is ever "filed" in this office. It just stays there. And crinkles when I sit on it.

Fortunately, there is another box. It, also, is made of cardboard, but is a bit more shallow than the others. This means I can stretch a bit more, and still be able to see over the sides. Not seeing over the sides makes me a little anxious, and well, then there is hell. But this box-- well, it's perfectly fine, and it sits on top of the "to file" papers. I guess that means they gave on "file"-ing because no one can get to the papers now. But it's ok, because I think they have accepted that and made their peace. Evidence of this is a pink towel they put in the box. Daddy George put it there because he didn't like me sleeping on the bed or sofa while he and Daddy Matt are in the office area. They get lonely, and apparently I am a "preferred distraction" during the workday. I think that's swell. So I sleep up here now. I haven't mastered my mount (or dismount), but I have succeeded in making both my humans believe that I am quite capable of staying inside without falling. I have fallen only once so far. I was sleeping. And then I wasn't. It wasn't that much fun.

Other than that, there isn't much else to elaborate on. World domination is in my paws, but I simply can't muster up the energy to do it. There are just not enough hours in the day. Well, hours that I am awake. Which, really, are the most important ones.

Daddy Matt got a new toy! It sings and he talks to it with it against his head. He also took my picture with it. Technology is fun!

However, I must say that it's not entirely the most flattering image of me. I mean, really. I look smudgey and dull. But all the same, it's good to see that I am at least the favorite. And maybe it's not too smudgey. Maybe it's just artistic like a wall-hanging non-moving artpiece. I am a wall-hanging non-moving artpiece.

so this strange character came over the house. i don't know where he went to, but daddy george wasn't around til after he left. he must've been afraid of him.

daddy matt and daddy george had lots of people over a few days ago. i had turkey. it was so good. they should make it a holiday.

look at my dirty paws! i was in the backyard again! daddy george gets sooo mad at me when i go out there...

Daddy George let me in the boiler room! That never happens! He doesn't like when I go in there. I do, though. It smells nice. Daddy George calls it "dank and mustardy" or something like that. It so much fun, though! It's very old though... There are werid gushing and wooshing sounds in the pipes! It's very exciting!

I like the window to the outside... I can't get out, though. They kind of have something like it in the front but it's all wavy... You can't see through it... This one has a gate over it. I can't get out; but I can small everything outside!

I didn't get to stay very long... But it was so much fun! I want to go again! Now!

Daddy Matt was playing with string today and wouldn't let me share! He had these big white foldy sheet wraps things and they had strings with metal rings attached! Fun! But he would gigle and pull the string away! Very inconsiderate!

And Daddy George made things worse by shifting tupperware in the kitchen, which is of course the universal sign that I'm going to eat now. But... he didn't FEED me! What's that all about?

Daddy Matt's working out now. I'd better keep watch.
